PILATES
Pilates aims to create a symmetrical strength throughout the body, focusing particularly on core strength, to improve general health, fitness and wellbeing. There is also increasing evidence that Pilates can provide pain relief to sufferers of non-specific lower back pain.
Why do Pilates?
Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates, who believed that mental and physical health were interrelated; a principle deeply shared by Osteopaths. People of all ages, fitness, health status, and ability can perform Pilates. Masters Osteopaths believes that it is the ideal form of exercise to compliment your injury rehabilitation or long-term wellbeing goals.
