Covid-19
Osteopaths, being Allied Health Professionals, have been allowed to remain open by Government throughout lockdown to ease strain on the NHS, but shortages in PPE have meant that we could not treat patients face to face, until now.
Masters Osteopaths is OPEN to those of you that feel in need of hands-on treatment. Please call 01702 346816 or email info@mastersosteopaths.co.uk to discuss your situation. An initial telephone triage will be performed to make sure that it is appropriate for you, at this time, to attend.
Our Telehealth service is still active and will remain the primary route for those of you that are deemed “vulnerable” under government guidelines.
When returning to our clinic you will be greeted by a new looking Osteopath; adorning the recommended visors, surgical masks, aprons and gloves. Our PPE has been specifically sourced to NOT interfere with NHS supply chains, which is why it has taken until now to obtain responsibly.
We have a full, detailed, and comprehensive strategy for maintaining a safe and socially responsible clinic. This strategy is based on the recommendations made by Public Health England (PHE) and our regulating body. Our strategy involves how patients will flow through our clinic. Social distancing will be maintained via the following:
- Patients will be allowed into the building at the exact time of their appointment. We ask that you remain outside or in your car until called in. You will make your way straight into the treatment room guided by your clinician.
- Payment will be made inside the treatment room with your clinician.
- Future appointments will be made with the clinician directly or by telephone once you have left the building. Our online booking system will remain closed for the time being. Our reception staff will be working remotely to answer calls.
Please be assured that rigorous cleaning protocols are in practice, based on the specific infection controls laid down by our governing body and PHE.
We are confident that the measures we are taking fall in line with the
recommendations made by PHE and, although some of these may seem extreme to what you are used to, it is necessary to be as stringent as possible to ensure a safe space for all.
